On August 16, 2022, I was riding in a hotel shuttle in Florida when we were rear-ended at 60 mph. The discs in my lower back were damaged. I had surgery and was off of work for 13 months. The young woman who hit us had $10,000 in insurance for my injuries and lost wages. When I signed up for my insurance, Colleen had explained to me how important um/uim insurance is. We would like to take some time to let you know what an excellent job your Agency did in helping our family after a recent loss. On December 29, 2011 we came home to a flooded house. A supply line in our hall bath had burst sometime during the day and there was extensive water damage to our home. My first call was to my agent, Colleen. She was extremely compassionate about our loss and assured us that "she would take care of it"; she definitely lived up to her word. Within 15 minutes, Colleen had filed our claim with MetLife, called a restoration company and made arrangements for them to be onsite within an hour. Not having been through anything like this before, we had a lot of questions about what to do next and how the whole "claim process" works. Colleen took the time to explain MetLife's claims process, answered all our questions and assured us she was there for us for anything we needed. And she continued to follow up with us during the six weeks while our home was being repaired.
